Note that I know of some manufacturers, model numbers, etc. I am looking for some help to hold the barn doors on them, focusing the light and dimmers, etc. I’m definitely looking for these options, but me most is, I’m not sure a good performance. I have read that some say “150 watts” is a great “fill” light is right. . . But it is the best for shooting a reporter tell a story in a neighborhood at night with minimal lighting? Or, to use only need a small light and videoing a wedding? Finally, if you can do well in a wireless microphone system, a camera mounted, (nothing over $ 250. 00, for now, please), it is not true? Azden? Shure?, Etc. (Again, use the name of the manufacturer and model number and all you can about comments that provided strong geschätzt.Der please try to get my computer up to par, but do not want to experience a lot of money “and something to get the fit is not my immediate needs. Thanks
I have a prosumer camcorder (CanonXL2); what hotshoe mount light(s gives me the most flexibility-wattage, etc?

Since you seem to want everything in a light, your best bet will be one with dimmer control. You know this. You also know that the closer you are to the subject, the better fill you will get. And you know that – in your case – you will likely need external power… Since you did not say how long of a battery life you need, it is difficult to recommend, but a belt-battery pack will provide longest light availability and portability. I like the NRG Research camera lighting systems. The Varilux has built-in brightness control. While you are there http://www.nrgresearch.com/
check the DC power systems – specifically, the Daypro power belt.
As for the wireless mic… There are only two companies that make decent camera mounted base station wireless systems.

Both are outside your stated budget.
The Azden UHF diversity wireless lavs will work – I am just not an Azden fan. Frankly, I would be more inclined to recommend a non-diversity Audio Technica wireless lav

I am not aware of a Shure camera mountable base-station.
It is a challenge to recommend parts to “get my equipment up to par” when you don’t allow budget for pro-grade gear. With that nice camera, it seems a shame to downgrade it with lesser lighting and audio equipment.
